In a post on X and other social media platforms, Anwar gave assurances that a new investigation would be conducted with full transparency and fairness, free from any external interference.

He says it will take into account the Court of Appeal’s findings on Sept 5, 2014. This is indeed good news for the family, as their quest for justice is heard by the most powerful man in the country. Some users attacked Anwar, perhaps forgetting that the issue at stake is the image of the country and that Teoh’s family deserves closure.
