In a Twitter message, former Sports Minister Syed Sadiqq shows he is in fighting spirit, saying ‘Bring it on!.
The Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman will be charged in the Sessions Court here today.
He faces a criminal breach of trust (CBT) case involving RM1 million for offences believed to have been committed in 2018 and 2020.
Bernama says Syed Saddiq will be charged under Section 405 of the Penal Code with regard to the alleged CBT of funds belonging to a political party.
He will also be charged under Section 403 of the Penal Code over the alleged misappropriation of funds.
In his tweet, Syed says
“Berani kerana benar. It is in moments like this that I am reminded why I joined Politics.
“Truth will always prevail. Saya lebih rela masuk mahkamah dari masuk Perikatan Nasional. Bring it on! Jumpa di Mahkamah KL esok 8pagi & Live FB/insta 8PM untuk pendedahan saya. #Lawan”
He says he prefers to go to court than to join the Perikatan Nasional government.
