KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 — Former Pasir Salak MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman has called on Khairy Jamaluddin and Hishammuddin Hussein to return to UMNO to strengthen the party’s position. Speaking to Utusan Malaysia, Tajuddin expressed his intention to meet the leaders soon to discuss their potential return.

“The president has openly stated that if anyone wants to return, the UMNO Supreme Council is ready to consider,” the former MP said, urging suspended or expelled members to rejoin for the party’s unity. He believes those who haven’t joined other parties still hold loyalty to UMNO. The Umno man’s six-year suspension was lifted on November 25.
