Last year, Korean police referred a high school teacher to prosecution for creating and selling college entrance exam questions to private schools. The suspect allegedly earned around 250 million won (RM843,975) over four years.
Teacher faces prosecution after selling questions
The investigation also involves 69 other teachers, with 24 of them referred to the prosecutor’s office. This probe aims to uncover covert connections between public and private education sectors.
Approximately 24 similar cases are still under investigation. All those referred are high school teachers in Seoul, accused of receiving payments for exam questions. One teacher faces anti-corruption charges for selling questions to a major private academy from 2019 to 2023.
