An 18-year-old was killed in a crash involving eight motorcycles on the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway early Sunday morning. Police said the incident occurred at about 3.30am at KM8.2 in the direction of Kulim. Initial investigations found the group was travelling from Seberang Jaya when one motorcycle brushed against another, causing a chain collision.
Eight-Motorcycle Crash
The victim lost control, fell and struck a metal divider, suffering fatal injuries at the scene. Seven other riders aged between 18 and 22 sustained injuries and were treated at Hospital Seberang Jaya. The case is being investigated for reckless or dangerous driving.
