Seputeh MP Teresa Kok’s service centre was situated in Block A of the Sri Desa Entrepreneur’s Park, the same building section that suffered a collapse in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur. The incident occurred yesterday around 10.15 pm. A portion of the building collapses and it includes its gutter that fell onto parked vehicles below.

Fortunately, Kok and her staff had already vacated their fourth-floor office by then. Kok denied claims that renovation works at her office caused the collapse, debunking a removed media report. Although no one was trapped, several victims sought medical treatment nearby. Authorities are investigating the incident and have closed the area pending safety reports.
