Additionally, the company laid off executives overseeing Southeast Asian production. Despite this, the company continues to develop charging infrastructure in Malaysia, adhering to a previous deal.
Starlink, another Musk enterprise, also secured approval to operate in Malaysia. This strategy reflects the company’s shift away from further Asian investments.
