Inside, they found her fiancé hiding under a table. The woman had traveled from another state to meet his family ahead of their wedding, scheduled by year’s end.
After returning from his house, the man stayed overnight at her hotel. JAINJ described the room as “a mess after the storm,” noting the couple’s relationship was not yet halal despite their upcoming marriage.
