An interesting Youtube video shows a Pan American Boeing 747 (Registration: N747PA) having an emergency landing due to some technical errors. It was reported that the aircraft had struck some airport infrastructure during take off and was deemed as a pilot error.

The aircraft, 50 years ago, was bound to Tokyo and the flight originated from Los Angeles. There were 200 passengers on the aircraft and 29 people were injured. The comments on the video stated that, back in the 1970s nobody would know that happened.

If something like this occurred today, it would definitely be reported world wide as it would feed into the general public’s query. The aircraft, registered as N747PA first flew with Pan American in 1970, and then was sold off to multiple operators until it turned into a restaurant. The aircraft is now scrapped.
