The New BATTLE of The Coffee Brands in Malaysia, Similar Prices with Abundant Options

Coffee shops are rather a staple for a portion of Malaysians. Brands like Zus Coffee and Bask Bear capitalized their business while Starbucks was facing boycotts. Netizens state that there is a new war among these stores, as their prices for a cup of Americano is more or less the same. 

Battle of the coffee brands in Malaysia 

Zus Coffee is heavily promoted among social media users for their affordable price and quality. An X user states that they’re not the best out there, but their prices and quality are reflected well. Many are encouraging local companies to expand their business and compete with foreign brands. 

Others state they’d rather brew their own drinks at home as it is significantly cheaper for them to do so. RM3.00 for a homemade cup of Americano may persuade some to start making them at home.
