The Darul Ehsan Institute (IDE) predicts that Barisan Nasional (BN) will win the Mahkota state seat by a majority of 5,900 to 10,280 votes, assuming the current voter sentiment holds until polling day with a 53% voter turnout. IDE stated that if voter turnout exceeds 53%, BN’s majority could increase further. The institute also forecasts that Perikatan Nasional (PN) may secure a maximum of 14,000 votes, potentially dropping to 10,000.
