Tiger Escapes From Zoo in Kemensah Heights, Is It Fake News?

There was a Whatsapp message that recently went viral among the folks that are residing in Ampang regarding the spotting of a tiger. The police were dispatched to the alleged location in Kemensah Heights, Ulu Kelang and there were no sightings of it. 

It was reported by Zoo Negara that there were no tigers escaping from the zoo. It was further mentioned that information given to the police was incomplete. The public is advised to come forward to the authorities if they have further information of the situation. 

Unverified information that is shared via Whatsapp has a risk of it being fake news. However, the authorities did their part by investigating the situation. Netizens on Twitter decided to make light of the situation where one of them posted a picture of their beautiful cat saying it’s the escaped tiger.
