A video went viral on TikTok after a user complained about the expensive prices when parking in Kuala Lumpur during the weekend. Ironically, Malaysia is a car-centric country, hence, the primary method of traveling is through a car. Parking prices are another major hidden cost in a person’s monthly expense.

Apparently, netizens debated with each other in the comments regarding the fee. Some users state that the individual parked at that specific lot for only 6 hours. Many are shocked to know that it is relatively an RM12/hour parking fee.
Regardless, this is a popular discussion among netizens as the rates of parking are not so subtly increasing. Ironically, parking in luxury malls like TRX and Pavilion are a lot more affordable than these outdoor spaces.
