Timber Lorry Driver Burned to Death in Bintulu Crash

A 57-year-old timber lorry driver, Kanang Inggai, was burned to death after his vehicle crashed and caught fire along a timber trail near Medsum Trading Sdn Bhd in Samarakan, Bintulu, on Sunday. 

Timber Lorry Driver Burned to Death in Bintulu Crash

The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department received an alert at 1pm and dispatched a team from the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Station.

 By the time firefighters arrived, company workers had managed to extinguish the flames, but the driver was found trapped and severely burned in the front of the lorry. His body was successfully extricated by 2.49pm. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
