Recently, an X user complained that a mall they frequent has no bidet in the cubicle toilets. This may prove to be inconvenient for many as bidets are preferred over tissues, especially in Malaysia. Many pride on social media citing that Southeast Asians tend to use bidets to clean themselves after going to the restroom.

Normalise toilet bidets in shopping malls
Another user states that mall developers need to provide both bidets and tissues for their customers. This is to ensure that users would have a choice on which to use. Not everyone uses tissues, nor bidets.
Others complained that malls without bidets in their toilets can oftentimes forget to restock their tissue paper. This could lead to an embarrassing moment for those unfortunate enough to use said cubicle.
