A 22-year-old site supervisor tragically lost his life in a fatal car accident on the North-South Expressway near Nilai early Tuesday morning. Nilai police chief Supt Abdul Malik Hasim reported that the incident occurred at 4:40 am when the victim’s car collided with the rear of an oil tanker lorry heading from Melaka to Seri Kembangan. The young man, driving alone, sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. Police are investigating the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and have urged eyewitnesses to assist by contacting Insp Rosloiza Mohd Luydin or the Nilai police station.
