KULAI – A tragic accident on the North-South Expressway near Sedenak claimed the life of a 21-year-old Singaporean woman and left her boyfriend seriously injured. The couple was returning to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur on a high-powered motorcycle when the 23-year-old rider lost control and collided with a steel road divider. Kulai Police Chief AC Tan Seng Lee confirmed the accident occurred around 9.15 am on December 10. The woman, who was riding pillion, suffered fatal head injuries and died at the scene, while the rider sustained severe leg injuries. Both were taken to Kulai Hospital for treatment.
