WASHINGTON, Oct 5 — President Donald Trump is seeing a sharp decline in support from Gen Z, Black, and Latino voters — key groups that bolstered his 2024 performance. A new Marist poll found Trump’s net support among Black voters fell from -42 in June to -53, and among Latinos from -5 to -16. Support from Gen Z also dropped steeply from -22 to -38.
Trump Loses Ground
The erosion is particularly stark among Latino men, with a Somos Votantes survey showing an 8-point decline in approval over the past eight months. Analysts say the trend suggests Trump’s 2024 inroads with younger and nonwhite voters are fading ahead of the next election cycle.
