PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man and PKR’s Rafizi Ramli have reached an out-of-court settlement over a 2022 defamation suit. The case stemmed from Rafizi’s allegation that Tuan Ibrahim, as caretaker environment and water minister, had approved a RM2 billion project linked to cronies. In a joint statement, both leaders said the resolution was made in the spirit of harmony, political stability, and public interest. Rafizi agreed to remove all related social media posts, while Tuan Ibrahim withdrew the suit. The court was informed of the settlement, with appreciation expressed for both parties’ efforts to end the dispute.
