Speaking at Wisma Darul Iman, he said the ball is in UMNO’s court after Bersatu’s Deputy President Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin hinted at a potential Malay-party alliance for GE16. Khalil stressed that such unity could stabilize politics and bolster Islam and bumiputera rights. He dismissed claims PAS seeks to bury UMNO, insisting their outstretched hand aims to strengthen the community, not weaken rivals, for the people’s benefit.
