An observation done by an X user is that Uniqlo, the popular fast-fashion Japanese brand, is selling t-shirts with Mickey Mouse wearing a baju Melayu. X users found that to be something cute as we rarely get to see Disney characters in our traditional outfits.

However, X users speculate that it could be in lieu of Disney allegedly struggling. There have been calls to boycott them for a number of alleged reasons. One of them is due to the Disney+ contract.
Others add that the bundle stores may increase the prices of these pieces by upwards of RM300 by next year.
