Urimai seeks justice after ROS rejects its application

The pro tem committee of Urimai, a party advocating for Malaysian rights, seeks justice after the Registrar of Societies (ROS) rejected their application for registration. Despite appealing to the home minister, no action was taken, forcing them to file for judicial review at the Kuala Lumpur High Court. Citing Article 10(1)(c) of the Federal Constitution, Urimai argues that their right to association has been violated. Committee secretary Satees Muniandy stresses their need to uphold constitutional rights in light of the government’s inaction.
