President Donald Trump confirmed he wore compression socks to treat swelling in his ankles, known as “cankles,” amid growing scrutiny over his health as America’s oldest president.
US President Makeup on Hands
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, he admitted to applying makeup on his hands to cover bruises caused by his daily 325‑milligram aspirin intake, a dose far higher than the standard 81 milligrams.
Doctors diagnosed him with chronic venous insufficiency, a treatable condition common in older adults. Trump said he disliked the socks and instead tried to walk more. At 79, he dismissed concerns about his health, attributing his resilience to “good genetics.”
