Haji Sabirin Marsono, PAS Selangor Deputy Commissioner, criticized the event, calling it unhealthy and immoral for the education system. He emphasized that the presence of alcohol at school events promotes immoral behavior and violates MOE guidelines.
Sabirin also questioned the monitoring of school donation activities by the MOE. He highlighted a 2018 circular prohibiting donations from gambling, cigarettes, drugs, and liquor. The event raised concerns about Islamic values and school ethics.
