In a gripping twist to the Sabah corruption scandal, 36-year-old whistleblower “Albert” endured nearly 11 hours of questioning by the MACC in Putrajaya on March 13, 2025. Armed with nine incriminating videos and WhatsApp messages, Albert exposed alleged bribes paid to assemblypersons, including senior ministers and Sabah Speaker Kadzim Yahya, for mineral exploration licenses. After a prior five-hour session, he provided a 50-page statement, backed by ample evidence, as confirmed by his lawyer, Mahajoth Singh. Despite accusations from Chief Minister Hajiji Noor of collusion and a tarnished past, Albert stands firm, leaving the MACC to act.
