Siti Bainun, the suspected child abuser who manages a care home for orphaned or special needs children, was granted the right to a passport in January 2022. Many people are shocked because she is presently facing a criminal charge.
The issue of Siti Bainun’s passport recently came up on Twitter with a lot of netizens saying they are losing faith in the case since so far she is defended by 10 pro bono lawyers, and is also able to travel. Apparently, she has an alleged important convention to attend overseas.
Despite the fact that the chances are stacked against her, she is still ‘innocent’ until proven guilty, and that is because the case against her has not been resolved. While Malaysians are outraged, what is the point of allowing suspected criminals to fly freely when they show no remorse?
