Apparently, there are observations on social media that there could potentially be a sales tax increase in lieu of Trump’s tariffs. Currently, the stock market all over the world is in decline. It is to no surprise that most countries will most definitely be affected by it.
Will there be an increase in sales tax?
Some are arguing that re-implementing GST may be a better solution to this. However, others state that the current sales tax based system is the best way for the country to move forward as there is more revenue being made from it.
