The Chief of Wira PUTRA, Nasrul Ali Hasan Abdul Latif condemns any attempts by any individuals or groups that threatens the independence of the Malaysian judiciary, saying these groups have low moral values.

Nasrul was referring to the Chief Justice’s statement that there are groups that tried to intimidate the judiciary based on some political cases tried last year.

“We stand firm and defends the independence of the judiciary because the Judiciary is one of the institutional branches of the Constitutional Monarchy system. The Judges who are assigned are intelligent and skilled in the field of law, so there is no need to worry and be afraid of any threats or any attempt to intimidate because the majority of Malaysians are with the judges,” says Nasrul.
