PARIS — What began as a simple act of kindness turned into a real-life drama aboard a Paris metro. Instagram user @rawis_fam shared a viral video recounting how she was pickpocketed by a pregnant woman moments after offering her a seat.
Pickpocketed by Pregnant Thief
Realising her wallet was gone, she sprang into action, chasing the thief through the train station before alerting police. For more than an hour, she held onto the woman until an accomplice appeared — returning the stolen wallet. Though she eventually recovered it, €70 had vanished, leaving behind a bitter lesson amid her bravery.
Social media users flooded her post with support, praising her courage and composure in confronting the thief and reclaiming what was hers.
