The attack on the B40 community has always been there on X. However, in recent days, many are complaining about the prices of basic necessities and food in these local destinations. Some users state that those who are in said income group should not even go to these places.
B40 Malaysians criticized by X users
Following that, other X users are defending them stating that we are all entitled to complain about these tourist areas as we are entitled to go there. A significant portion of the country is in the lower income group and the spending power among Malaysians are not as strong as Singaporeans and other nationals.
Furthermore, users state that even T20 individuals would not pay RM9 for roti-canai. Despite this, those who are against Malaysians complaining about the prices in these areas state that the others are not as “entitled” to complain about the situation.
