Popular singer Ziana Zain has declined to comment on reports that she was summoned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over an alleged financial scandal. Speaking after an event in Glenmarie, she simply said, “I only sing, dear.” Ziana is one of three ambassadors for a financial consultancy firm implicated in the “Ops Sky” crackdown. MACC Chief Commissioner Azam Baki confirmed that several celebrities linked to the firm would be questioned next week. The investigation follows the freezing of RM22 million in accounts and the arrest of 27 individuals, including company directors and bank officers, for corruption and money laundering.
