Professional men’s singles badminton player from Malaysia, Lee Zii Jia, admits that there is still a lot of work to be done to ensure he performs at his best on the world stage. The player, currently ranked 17th in the world, asks for patience from his fans as it is a long process.
Zii Jia: Dream Cut Short
WIth his dream of advancing to the finals of the Australian Open was cut short as he lost to China’s player, Weng Hong Yang, with a score of 19-21, 21-13, 13-21 in Sydney on Saturday, he asks for patience.
“There’s still a lot to do to regain confidence. It’s a step-by-step process and requires time. I have no choice but to be patient,” he said through the BWF website.
