10 km travel limit within district removed for fully-vaccinated

The 10km travel limit imposed previously for states and territories under Phase One of the National Recovery Plan has been removed.

The National Security Council (NSC), in its latest standard operating procedure dated Aug 20 says individuals who have been fully vaccinated were now allowed to travel beyond 10km from their homes, but are still confined to interstate and inter-district travel restrictions.

“The movement of individuals who have been fully vaccinated is allowed, subject to the capacity of the vehicles,” it says.

Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and Kedah are states and territories under Phase One of the NRP.
