1 min read

Malaysia received one million doses of the Astra Zenaca vaccine from Japan, which is a contribution of the Japanese government.

In a Tweet yesterday, Covid-19 Immunisation Programme Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says this is a testament to strengthening bilateral ties. Malaysia would also have received 586,700 doses of AZ from direct purchase from the AZ facility in Thailand.

The shipments will further intensify the vaccination process under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
