Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) service on the Putrajaya route will be free of charge starting today until March 31st. He said the complimentary service, from Kwasa Damansara MRT station to Putrajaya Sentral, is offered in conjunction with the official opening of the MRT Putrajaya Line.

MRT Corp announced that the transit system will be launched at 3pm today, with minor hype on going with the Twitter users. One netizen responded by sarcastically asking if the train frequency will only be 30 minutes within each train.
Netizens are also asking questions on why the MRT line isn’t launched in the morning, but rather at an awkward time. Others are excited with the launch of the new line as it will most definitely connect more Malaysians to each other.
