Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is in stable condition after a bout of diarrhoea on Wednesday last week but remains in hospital.
Though some news reports say he will be discharged soon from the hospital, it appears he is still receiving treatment.
He will be discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment for a digestive system infection.
After the diarrhoea, he is now in hospital for intravenous antibiotic treatment and is expected to be discharged “in a few more days”, says a statement from his office on Sunday (Jul 4).
“His condition is stable and improving and he is allowed to work while receiving treatment,” the statement says.
