Hannah Yeoh from the DAP and Umno’s TS Annuar Musa are seemingly in a dialogue on Twitter today.
The handle @AnnuarMusa replied to a comment from Yeoh regarding reports the Ministry of Regional Affairs and DBKL want to build stalls on an open space in front of Desa Sri Hartamas shops.
Yeoh says, “We just solved the loop traffic problem there. Why does the lockdown time want to destroy any open space in KL? Residents will come out to protest if it is correct!”
In reply to Yeoh, Annuar says he will check the information with DBKL.
“I will check with DBKL. YB can also check..If the stall can help the people who are having a hard time finding food.
“DBKL can consider..as long as you make it beautiful in an abandoned area. The priority now is to help the people earn a living.”
The dialogue is a departure from the usual brickbats between politicians on Twitter.
But with Yeoh’s threats that residents will come out to protest against such plans, Annuar says the priority is to help people find a living.
