The show starts on Wednesday at 3 pm live on Astro Arena and Astro Awani with a press conference.
Can Malaysia win its first gold medal at an Olympic with the controversial Tokyo 2020 Olympic games?
The games are taking place in the midst of a surging COVID-19 pandemic. Japan is facing a lot of criticism for hosting the game with these challenges.
Nevertheless, Malaysia has set its targets at the world’s biggest sporting event starting July 23 and ending August 8.
Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican on Monday said the Malaysian contingent bound for the Tokyo Olympics has set a target of winning three medals.
One of them being the elusive gold medal.
Reezal Merican said badminton, track cycling and diving represent the country’s main hope of success.
