Kuala Lumpur: MH17 victims families are venting their fury at Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying he is ‘denying proven facts’.
Relatives say the Russian leader must acknowledge the ‘massacre,’ which the Dutch government blames on Russia.
‘Your denial is challenging proven facts, and you know it,’ said the letter which ran in the Moscow newspaper, Novaya Gazeta.
‘We cannot accept your denial of the irreparable events of that July day.
‘We are sorry for seven years that you refuse to acknowledge our pain, instead of deepening it.
‘We sincerely believe that this policy of denial is damaging to the legacy of your homeland – a legacy that you, as president, must especially defend.’
Moscow denies any involvement.
The families are preparing to hear painful details of loved ones’ deaths and judges sum up evidence of the disaster!
