Kuala Lumpur, 23 July 2021 – PETRONAS Dagangan is amplifying the Food Bank Programme at over 400 participating Petronas stations nationwide.

The aim is to reach out to more Malaysians affected by the ongoing pandemic.

The effort, which was first initiated by individual station dealers, is now augmented by contributions from good Samaritans from surrounding communities.

PDB has to date allocated RM600,000 worth of food supply to amplify the programme so it could reach more beneficiaries.

Speaking on the initiative, PDB Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Azrul Osman Rani said: “In this challenging time, it is heartwarming to see Malaysians come together to help those truly in need, and this includes our station dealers. We appreciate this gesture of goodwill and together, we can scale it up for greater impact.

“We leverage on our physical network, enabling our digital avenues and want to make it easy for everyone to join in the cause.”
