Kuala Lumpur: A poll by the IDE or Institute Darul Ehsan shows that 85% of pollsters want PM TS Muhyiddin Yassin out.
The poll published today (a few hours ago) says the Public Opinion Survey (TPR – Or people’s perception) Series 2/2021 conducted from 11 to 18 July involves 7,986 respondents nationwide. It covers the peninsula, Sabah and Sarawak.
Respondent profiles include gender, age, race and support for various political parties.
This survey is about TSMY’s position as the Prime Minister of Malaysia, ahead of the Special Session of the Parliament of Malaysia.
The latest perception shows only 12% voted for him to stay as Prime Minister and is of the view that he should not resign. 3% were uncertain.
However, the majority of respondents, 85% voted for him to resign as Prime Minister. A microanalysis shows people of a variety of ages, races and political alignments want him out.
