Kuala Lumpur: Parti Amanah regrets the actions of the Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin and the Cabinet in their response to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s.
Amanah president Mohamad Sabu urges Muhyiddin to seek forgiveness from the King and to resign immediately.
Mat Sabu was commenting on the Prime Minister’s Office responded to the King’s letter on the revocation of the Emergency Ordinance.
He says the manner in which the Emergency Ordinance was revoked was still in question. “Muhyiddin’s statement seems to imply that the Agong does not understand the actual situation.”
He says the Cabinet also failed to respect the Agong’s call for a parliamentary session to be held as soon as possible for the Emergency Ordinance and the National Recovery Plan to be debated.
