Kuala Lumpur: In a Facebook post, Umno leader Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says Umno MPs will make suggestions on how to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
But he says the government should not take all the friendly suggestions as naive. They should also not turn all suggestions into an attack from others against the authorities.
However, he laments that Umno cannot help if the Parliament is suspended!
He also points to the DAP’s suggestion that since no one has a majority in Parliament, they should all work together to fight COVID-19.
Nevertheless, he argues whether most of Umno’s proposals will be taken seriously?
“They translate all our suggestions and ideas into a form of “attack”. Any part they finally agree to is due to compulsion.
“Then they try to take credit. Giving suggestions doesn’t necessarily mean screaming. Let’s calm down.”
