Kuala Lumpur: Singer Siti Sarah Raissuddin’s passing, a victim of the COVID-19 pandemic, has moved many citizens in the Asean region.
In Malaysia, many people are grieving. The Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan honoured her with a tweet yesterday. It reads:
“Alhamdulillah. Our task force finished managing the tayammum process and funeral prayers for late Siti Sarah Raissuddin at HUKM this morning.
“May forgiveness and mercy be bestowed on the deceased. May all family members be given courage in pain facing this unfortunate event.”
The famous singer Siti Sarah Raisuddin, 36, has fought for her life since last Wednesday from COVID-19 infection. However, she passed away early yesterday morning at 5.13 am at the Tuanku Muhriz Chancellor’s Hospital (HCTM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
