Mah Sing Foundation Continues Its Support To Fight COVID-19

1 min read

Mah Sing Foundation (MSF) recently donated five units of patient monitoring equipment worth RM33,000 to the Department of Haematology, Hospital Ampang, Selangor to support the hospital in tackling the spike in numbers of COVID-19 cases.

This is one of the many significant contributions by the Foundation in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, in line with its aim to create long-term and sustainable impacts in the community.

In dealing with the pandemic, Hospital Ampang has been fully converted into a COVID-19 Hospital since June 2021 with one of the haematology wards (COVID-19 Isolation Ward) reserved for COVID-19 patients with haematology diseases such as Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Thalassemia.

These patients need intensive and continuous monitoring as their risks are more severe compared to other patients. With the sudden surge of COVID-19 cases, the hospital is currently facing a shortage of monitoring equipment that is essential for the management and care of patients.
