Kuala Lumpur: PM Muhyiddin Yassin is in dire strait after a large majority of opposition MPs made public their rejection of his call for support in Parliament in an upcoming no-confidence vote.
The vote is scheduled for September 7 but many are speculating that Muhyiddin will once again push back against the vote by closing the Parliament again.
They say he has already done that twice, the lastest being the postponement of the Aug 2 session after Anwar Ibrahim cast a no-confidence motion against the PM.
BN, Pakatan Harapan and allies, Warisan, Pejuang and Muda are now joined by Mazlee Malik who today says he is not giving his vote to Muhyiddin.
