Kuala Lumpur: Rumours are rife that PM TS Muhyiddin Yassin is resigning. But no such news came out today despite WhatsApp messages saying it is happening today.
Some Ministers in his cabinet told Malaysiakini he is not resigning and at least one of them says ‘not today’. The same portal says Muhyiddin has an audience with the King on Monday slightly before noon.
This could mean there is only two option left for the PM: One is to resign and announce his resignation on Monday to the King. Second is he will inform the King, once again, that Parliament will be held sooner than September. Will it be next week?
