Kuala Lumpur: According to sources and rumours, fallen ex-PM Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is not lending support to Anwar Ibrahim in his bid to become PM.
The source says the son of Mahathir, Mukhriz is willing to support Anwar however, the elderly politician accused of betraying Anwar in 2020 when he resigned as PM, prefers a Mageran-style solution to the current crisis.
For that matter, he is not willing to bet on a regime headed by Anwar.
