Kuala Lumpur: The trend in Malaysia politics on Twitter shows a massive lead for Anwar Ibrahim against closest rival for PM Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The opposition leader who managed to seal a deal with all opposition parties getting 105 MPs on his side in the race to premiership got 74,000 retweets yesterday (at the time of writing).
Sabri came a far away second with 41,500 retweets while Bersatu garnered 5000 more retweets than Umno (20,000). If these are to be taken into consideration, Anwar is by far the most retweeted name on the social network.
