News reports are suggesting that Anwar Ibrahim has succeeded to unite the divided opposition forces into one block that could give the new government a hard time in Parliament and in elections.
The opposition leader failed to win the bid to become PM last week after he only garnered 105 MPs on his side but this is a good sign for the opposition.
They finally agreed that it is Anwar the leader not Tun Dr Mahathir from Pejuang or Shafie Apdal from Warisan.
However, Anwar is still facing some resistance from both party leaders as well as from some grassroots from the fading Amanah party.
